About

Hi, I'm Ubin (you-bin).

Chicago Industrial Design, University of Illinois Urbana Champaign

I've always enjoyed creating things. I was the quiet, artsy kid who was often living within my own thoughts. I loved drawing and painting the most, but tried tons of different creative forms. When people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I thought long and hard about how to describe the abstract passion I carried. The answer I landed on was inventor, which I like to think translates to product designer now.

Product design turned out to be the perfect path for me: it bridged my creative interests with problem-solving and storytelling. Today, I enjoy designing impactful solutions for complex problems while maintaining a whimsical quality. I carry a lot of ideas, and I love shaping them into product-based strategies.

I love to chat about shows and music! I absolutely love Game of Thrones (the other shows as well) but also watch animated shows like Avatar the Last Airbender, Arcane, and animes! I enjoy playing a little League of Legends with friends too.
